Non-Alcoholic Drinks for Homecoming

Fall and Homecoming are upon us, which means its time to get cozy in our flannels with some fall drinks. While alcohol is flowing this time of year between homecoming and the bars, some may way a reprieve from the hard stuff so enjoy some of these wonderful fall, non-alcoholic, drinks!

Apple Cider Sangria

1 Granny Smith

1 Honey Crisp Apple

1 Orange       

1 Pear

1 Pomegranate

750mL Non alcoholic apple Cider

500 ML Sparkling Water

This one is easy- cut up the fruit and mix it all together!

Hot Salted Carmel Apple Cider

Caramel Syrup

¼ cup Brown Sugar, Dark

1 Cinnamon Stick

Cool Whip

½ tsp Salt

1 tsp Vanilla

4 cups Apple Cider

½ cut Heavy whipping cream

Mix together the brown sugar and heavy cream in a sauce pan over medium heat and then stir in the sugar until it dissolves in the cream. Then, slowly our in the apple cider and add the vanilla and salt. After mixing, give it about 10 minuets and then pour it into a glass.

Pumpkin Nog (dairy free!)

¼ cup Pumpkin Puree

1 Egg and 1 yolk

1 ½ cups vanilla soy milk

1/8 tsp  Cinnamon

1/8 tsp  salt

1 nutmeg

1/8 Pupkin pie spice

3 tbsp Sugar

¼ tsp Vanilla extract

Pour soy milk into sauce pan, add egg, yolk, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, salt& vanilla on medium high and whisk. Keep whisking up until just before it comes to a boil, then mix in the puree. Then its ready to serve!

Butterbeer

250mL Cream Soda

125mL Butterscotch syrup

½ tbsp Butter

50 mL Double Cream

Whip the double cream until it has soft peaks then sent it aside. Then heat the butterscotch and butter together for one minuet. Next fold the double cream and 3 tbsp of the cream soda and slowly pour that into the hot butterscotch and butter
