As a self-proclaimed makeup connoisseur, I always get excited when I hear that makeup brands are launching new products.  There’s an excitement that rises within, getting to see if there’s something that you just need to have, something that makes you have a sharp inhalation of breath and say, “That’s so pretty.”  So, what’s launching this fall?

Kim Kardashian is coming out with a new launch, which she is calling the Cherry Blossom Collection.  She says that she has always loved cherry blossoms, (her baby shower for her child Chicago was cherry blossom themed) and wanted to launch a collection with the stunning flowering trees in mind.  It contains a 10- pan eyeshadow palette ($45) made up of six mattes and four metallics, eight creme lipsticks ($144 for all eight, $18 for individual), three lip liners ($12), and three blushes ($18 each).  The whole collection bundle is worth $279.

Keeping up with the cherry theme, Urban Decay is launching their fifth Naked Palette, appropriately named the Cherry Eyeshadow Palette.  It contains 12 shadows, some of which are matte, shimmer, and satin.  As to whether there will be other cherry-related launches within the company, no one knows yet, but it will cost the same as all of the other palettes ($54).  However, the original Naked palette does appear to be being discontinued, and is currently on sale on the Urban Decay website for $27.  So, snatch that up before it’s gone forever!

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna has changed the makeup industry for the better.  No longer do we accept horrible shade ranges (*cough cough* Tarte Shape Tape Foundation *cough cough* Beauty Blender Foundation) that are not inclusive to all skin tones.  Fenty is launching two new products this fall which are generating a lot of buzz.  The first item is called the Diamond Bomb Highlighter.  This highlighter appears to be a beautiful pearl color, which leaves the skin looking wet and dewy when you put it on.  Rihanna’s personal makeup artist, Priscilla Ono, did a video with the famous YouTuber NikkieTutorials where she demonstrated the new products.  The next item in the launch is an addition to the Gloss Bomb family, and only the second shade of the famous gloss.  It’s called the Diamond Milk Gloss Bomb and the shade is a milky, pearly white and just as glossy as the original lip gloss.  Many are already looking forward to the launch, which is believed to be September 7th, meaning it has already launched.  Pick it up online or in Sephora stores!

Now, onto some more budget friendly options that are perfect for any college student!  Makeup Revolution is launching the foundation version of their Conceal and Define Full Coverage Conceal & Contour concealer.  Many beauty gurus on Instagram and YouTube consider this concealer to be a dupe for the Tarte Shape Tape, which is a cult favorite.  I personally use this concealer, and am in LOVE with it.  The foundation will cost $12, and come in 24 “skin-true” shades.  It will be a full-coverage foundation, that is also buildable and blendable.  In addition to this highly anticipated foundation launch, Makeup Revolution is also releasing a jumbo version of the concealer mentioned above, with the gram amount increasing from 4 grams to 13.  It will cost only $10.  They have already launched, as of September 5th, but keep selling out quickly, so if you are interested, set a reminder on your phone of when they will restock!
