Maine Day Announcement

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Maine chapter.

April: the most awkward month in the school year. After Spring Break I think it’s safe to say that most of us have already started to lose our motivation for the rest of the school year. Our stress levels are rising and honestly the only thing to look forward to now is Maine Day.

Everybody has been talking about who may or may not be performing this year. Over the years we’ve hosted bands such as:

The Chainsmokers

Boys like Girls

And All-American Rejects

So who will it be this year? We’ve gotten in contact with a personnel with UMaine’s Student Entertainment and after a lot of begging, they actually told us that instead of having a specific performer, they’ve booked Life in Color (formerly known as Dayglow) to come to UMaine! Life in Color has come to UMaine before and because of its great turn-out and popularity, the school has decided to have them back again. Here’s a little sneak peek at what’s in store for you on Maine Day:

Are you pumped now or what?! Known as “The World’s Largest Paint Party”, this event is sure to not disappoint. I mean how could they disappoint when they’re actually not coming to UMaine at all! That’s right….APRIL FOOLS!
