Getting sick of studying at Fogler? Need a new place to hit the books and enjoy some coffee? Come visit Millers Café located at the front of The Collins Center for the Arts. If you’re not quite sure which building that is, it’s the one that lights up with the cool colors at night right across from the commuter lot.

Miller’s Café is a nice relaxing nook that not many students know about. Open daily from 8am-3pm the café serves four different Carabassett Coffee types, fresh bagels with three delicious types of cream cheese including plain, veggie, and garlic and herb. The café also offers pastries that differ daily, soft drinks, tea, and snacks such as chips, cookies, yogurt, and fruit.

The café is furnished with numerous tables to study at with fellow students and some very comfy couches if you’re looking for a more relaxing setting. The tall ceilings and open atmosphere makes it a nice place to focus and get some work done. If you need a break from the books you can wander up stairs to the Hudson Museum and experience some fun culture.

If you cant make it to the café during the school week check out the CCA’s website for upcoming shows. http://www.collinscenterforthearts.com. Miller’s Café is opened during each show. During the performances there are even more goodies available. Local caterer, Izzy Wieck makes homemade delightful desserts and amazing soups to be sold. If you are 21+ and bring your valid ID you can enjoy some wine or select beer.

Whether you’re looking for a place to eat lunch, get your morning coffee, or study, Miller’s café is a great option to change things up!
