Rihanna’s new launch was a huge success. Coming out immediately with 40 shades, it was one of the biggest launches of the season. The brand launched on September 8th, yet the hype still has yet to die down.  On the Fenty website Rihanna leaves this message to those who are interested in the brand, “FENTY BEAUTY WAS CREATED FOR EVERYONE: FOR WOMEN OF ALL SHADES, PERSONALITIES, ATTITUDES, CULTURES, AND RACES. I WANTED EVERYONE TO FEEL INCLUDED. THAT’S THE REAL REASON I MADE THIS LINE.” You go RiRi!

If you have a darker complexion and are on a budget, L’oreal is one of the leading drugstore companies with an extensive color range. Witb 33 shades in their True Match Super Blendable foundation alone, varying from cool to warm toned. You really can’t go wrong.

Black Up is advertised as a “luxury makeup artist brand for ethnic skin tones & women of color yet suitable for all women.”  It targets women who would usually not be able to find their suitable shade in most sephora makeup brands but also has selections for those with lighter complexions as well.
