Halloween was only a week ago, but Black Bears are already experiencing full-blown winter after last week’s snow storm. As college students, we sometimes can’t help but forget that we have a ton of work to complete before heading home for the holidays…so we tend to find ourselves getting geared up for the holiday season a little bit too early. If you do any of these things, you’re definitely a tad too excited for Christmas.

10. Taking an Instagram of your red Starbucks cup.

Extra points if you matched your manicure to the cup or wore a really cute pair of gloves.

9.    Building a snowman

There are two kinds of people in this world: those who stay inside forever once snow hits the ground, and those who run out to build a snowman the second they see a snowflake in the sky. You’re unquestionably the second type.

8.    Watching Elf

Because smiling is your FAVORITE!

7.    Listening to Christmas music

Your roommate has threatened to move out if you listen to “My Only Wish This Year” by Britney Spears one more time. It’s still early November.

6.    Making the official transition from pumpkin spice to peppermint mocha

Who needs a calendar to tell you what season it is? Not you. Your coffee flavor choice tells all.

5.    Picking out puppy names

Who knows? Maybe this is the year you finally find one under your tree!

4.    Shopping for gifts

You’ve had a sweater for your third cousin wrapped up in a neat little package in your closet for weeks already.

3.    Buying festive groceries

And by groceries, I mean Oreos. With red and green fillings instead of white, obviously. You celebrate even whilst snacking.

2.    Slowly decorating for the holidays

It’s a huge effort for you to walk past the decoration sections of every store you enter…maybe nobody will notice if you just hide a nutcracker on your desk?

1. Downloading a countdown app on your phone

LOL, just kidding. You’ve been counting down since last Christmas.
