While you may not be hosting your own Thanksgiving dinners yet, you’ve hopefully graduated from the kid’s table. Sitting with the grownups does come with grownup responsibility. You could be stuck with a chore like mashing potatoes or basting the turkey, but why not commandeer your own recipe? Here are 10 easy, delicious recipes that will have your family thinking that maybe, just maybe, you’re an adult.

 

1. Roasted Fingerling Potatoes and Brussels Sprouts with Rosemary and Garlic

Just reading the name of that dish makes me feel grown up. Fingerling potatoes? That’s class. Roasting vegetables is super easy and the end result of this dish looks so delicious.

 

2. Thai Spiced Pumpkin Soup

Soup as part of the Thanksgiving spread may feel strange at first, but the flavors will seamlessly blend in with all the traditional foods. This one’s nearly impossible to mess up, and a pumpkin seed garnish looks oh so fancy.

 

3. Prosciutto-Wrapped Asparagus

Prosciutto? And I thought fingerling potatoes were classy! The ingredients are asparagus, prosciutto, olive oil and black pepper- that’s it! You’re welcome.
