Vote IOWA for the Annual Victoria’s Secret PINK Collegiate Showdown!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Iowa chapter.

Making it to the final four in Victoria’s Secret Pink Nation Collegiate Showdown was quite the disappointment last year – especially losing to University of Illinois.

It’s a new year and as dedicated Hawkeyes, we have to make sure we come out on top! This would mean winning a free concert for University of Iowa, seeing some of our favorite clothes on our favorite models, and other awesome prizes.

Last year, Girl Talk and Kid Cudi were the guests of honor at University of Illinois. Check out the video of last year’s show!

We are currently in 9th place, just two spots behind our Big Ten rival, University of Wisconsin – Madison. With about 60 hours to go until the “Super Sixteen” takes place, every vote is going to count!

The winning university will be crowned on April 10th so make sure to vote every day until then!

The process is simple: visit the Pink Nation site and join by using your e-mail address or login via Facebook. If you voted last year, the same e-mail works, so hopefully you remember your password.

Lets go ladies! You know you want this win – what girl wouldn’t?

Emily is a junior at the University of Iowa and is studying Journalism and Pre-Law with a minor in Health Communication. She has been a part of the Her Campus University of Iowa team since it was founded in 2010 and is a member of Ed on Campus. She has grown to love magazine writing and editing and if she somehow can't land her dream job (to be Carrie Bradshaw), she wouldn't mind settling for a job in the magazine industry. If nothing else, she hopes to attend law school somewhere in the Bay Area out West, her favorite place to be. Since the age of 15, Emily spent her summers in California, doing internships and falling in love with San Francisco. Some of her other interests include her 4-month-old longhaired wiener dog Henry, blogging, celebrity gossip, sushi, Private Practice, fro-yo, being a journalism nerd, and anything involving good conversation with good people. Although she's not exactly sure of her plans for the future, she knows journalism will somehow be the driving force in her career.
