Summer Bucket List Ideas For Your Best Summer Yet

What ever happened to summers back in your teens when you could go out and do whatever you wanted in the summer? Like going to the pool for five hours and then getting a giant ice cream cone and finishing off the night with a nice long walk? Now suddenly, you’re in college with classes that never seems to end. Is there any time for fun anymore? Have we become too old to have a great summer?

…NO! Make this summer your best yet with some of these summer bucket list ideas. 

Bucket list for the kid in you:

  • Water balloon fight
  • Feed the ducks
  • Order the biggest ice cream portion on the menu and eat it all
  • Go to the pool everyday for one week
  • Act like a kid off of the diving board
  • Ride your bike around the neighborhood
  • Watch your favorite childhood TV shows on a rainy day
  • Watch Disney movies on a rainy day
  • Set up the sprinklers in your yard

Bucket list for the fit you:

  • Burn over 2,000 calories in one day
  • Eat only 3 lean meals a day for a week
  • Work out every day for at least 30 minutes
  • Wake up at the same time (8 – 9a.m.) every day
  • Get up and jog 2 miles at least 4x a week
  • Try a new sport (tennis, golf, etc.)
  • Walk in the pool (burns extra calories due to more resistance)
  • Cleanse/detox for a week
  • Try a new exercise class
  • Set a weight goal
  • Meet your weight goal

Bucket list for the adventurous you:

  • Go camping
  • Go to a museum
  • Go on a big vacation
  • Go on a small vacation
  • Attend an outdoor concert

  • Go on a road trip

  • Learn a new trick (i.e. front flip off a diving board and/or jumping through your other leg)
