It’s that wonderful time of the spring semester….Spring Break! After all of those snowy days a week in the sun sounds amazing.  Wherever your going make sure you pack light and leave a bit of room just in case you buy some souvenirs. If you can, fit everything into one bag, particularly a carry on since some airlines will charge you a fee for your luggage. Don’t forget the main essentials below!

1. Sunscreen-SPF 45 or greater to protect you from those rays!

2. Chapstick-try and find one with a higher SPF

3. A Waterbottle-between drinking and the sun you’re bound to get thirsty!

4. 2 swimsuits

5. 1 towel-if you want to save room just use the towels your hotel provides

6. Advil-chances are, you’ll wake up with a hangover and/or sunburn

7. 1 nice outfit-try for a cute dress or shorts and a nice top

8. 2 pairs of shoes-flip flops and some cute wedges or heels for that night out!

9. Cell phone charger

10. A small clutch

11. A foldable tote bag-you could possibly use this as your carry on!

12. A light jacket or sweatshirt-it can tend to get chilly at night time on the beach

While packing think light! Roll all of your clothes up as small and tight as you can so there is plenty of room and you can fit more into a smaller bag. Don’t worry about things like makeup and hair products. Spring break is all about the natural, carefree look. Have fun and stay safe!
