What’s your major and your ideal post-graduation job?
So my major is Vocal Performance and Education and my dream job after I graduate would be to travel the world studying music from every culture and then sharing that music at home with students.

You’re so happy, all the time, where does that come from?
I think the reason I am so happy all the time is that I just love to smile and see people smile in return. It’s amazing the positive endorphins that can be released from a simple smile and how much it can change someone’s day. (Especially for the better)

How would you describe your fashion style?
I love to shop for the unique, the quirky, and the unpredictable: the clothing that no one else has. If I had all the time in the world and unlimited resources, I would dress in Dior and Chanel. High fashion has always interested me but it’s not like I can walk around Iowa City wearing a full length gown without getting some funny looks. Until then, I will stick with my bright colors and unpredictable style.

What school activities are you involved in?
Here at the University of Iowa I have so many different passions. I am in University Choir four days a week, singing and making music with my peers. Keeping the music theme going, I am the Recording Secretary for the women’s music fraternity, Sigma Alpha Iota. Through this great group, I participate in concerts, fundraisers and service activities throughout Iowa. One of my absolute favorite things to do here is play the pianos in the ped mall. When the warm weather comes out and I see the brightly colored pianos, I could not be more happy. I can sit for over an hour just playing the pianos and seeing the city move and thrive around me. Definitely one of my top school activities.  I try to be involved int he school of music as much as possible as well and I volunteer each year helping out with auditions. It is so great to be able to meet some of my future possible students and peers here at Iowa.
