What is #MeetOurMembersMonday?
Happy #meetourmembersmonday! Her Campus U Iowa started this hashtag to feature our amazing team members who work hard to make this organization what it is. But more importantly it is a way for our viewers to get to know the people behind the content they are making.
This Week’s Feature
The member that we would like to showcase this week is Madison Baker! Madison is HC Iowa’s Executive Assistant and is in charge of tracking member engagement for our chapter. She is a junior at the University of Iowa and is majoring in Enterprise Leadership and Event Management. She is originally from Marion, IA, but is living in Iowa City while attending the university.
“I joined HC to meet others with similar interests and passions as mine, while growing in areas needed for my professional career.”
After college, Madison wants to keep her options open when it comes to starting her career. At the moment she has many interests, so she wants to utilize her time at Iowa to explore these opportunities. One of Madison’s main passions is supporting small businesses. Taking an interest in local shops only strengthens the community and can bring people together. Especially in times like these, those businesses could really use our support. Outside of school, Madison enjoys thrifting and second-hand shopping in her free time.
