Katelyn Bunn is a crazy, ambitous force of energy. Her laugh and energy leaves a positive mark on the University of Iowa’s campus. From school to work, this is one gal you have to get to know before she graduates in a couple of weeks.
1. What are your post grad plans?
I am going to be moving to Chicago for a sales job at Groupon.
2. What was your favorite thing about college?
Making friends with amazing people and constantly doing group activities with my roommates.
3. What class was your least favorite in the years you were at U of I?
Anthropology. I’m much more of a business girl.
4. What extracurriculars are you in?
I am a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority and Rho Lambda.
5. What’s the best memory you have of senior year?
I had the most amazing time during my sorority’s mom’s day weekend. I love getting to have my favorite person (my mom) around for all my normal, fun weekend activities.
6. What advice would you have given yourself four years ago knowing what you know now?
I would say never settle for anything less than absolute happiness.
7. What’s one thing people might not know about you?
I am obsessed with surprises.
8. Do you have any weird habits or rituals?
I eat popcorn right before bed most days of the week.
9. Who do you look up to?
My mom, she is the hardest worker I know!
10. What’s your favorite place to eat at in Iowa city?
Nodo! If you haven’t tried their steak sandwich you haven’t lived.
11. Favorite quote?
Life is too short to wait.
12. Favorite day of the week?
Thursday, hands down.
13. Craziest ambition?
To be the choice makeup artist at my best friend’s weddings.
