On the corner N. Linn St and E. Market St is a perfectly cute coffee shop as lovely as Iowa City itself. It’s not only the smile behind every counter or the chill music or the absolutely amazing iced chi latte, but the magnetic cafe atmosphere that entices anyone to take more than just a quick peak. Just opened this year, The High Ground Cafe is my go-to coffee shop on campus. Hardly ever packed, this mostly graduate student hangout is calm, collected, and perfect for the coffee study break we all need sometimes.
