With the help of everyone’s favorite quirky “Parks and Recreation” character Leslie Knope, played by the lovely Amy Poehler, Galentine’s Day is a new way for women to celebrate each other. Or as Leslie Knope would say herself, “Oh, it’s only the best day of the year. Every February 13th, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and our boyfriends at home, and we just come and kick it, breakfast-style. Ladies celebrating ladies. While the holiday as a whole is about women celebrating each other, it’s also nice to remind people that without a man you always have your girls by your side, so why not make yourself a cute photoshoot to prove that to people? Luckily, now that Galentine’s Day has become a hot new holiday to celebrate, stores like Party City have cute banners along with several heart balloons and Galentine’s Day themed props. While these decorations and props are great to take pictures with, they can also add an extra pop to your party, or they can be reused for any Valentine’s Day celebrations you plan to have the next day.
