An adorable, smart and funny girl who loves sports is basically every guy’s dream, right? Meet Courtney, a sophomore Journalism and Marketing student, dog lover and sports enthusiast. Courtney writes for the sports section of The Daily Iowan and definitely has a way with words. I asked her some questions, and she replied with fun, energetic answers that really emphasize her shining personality.
Favorite show?
The Office. I love everything about it… except Toby. Toby is the worst.
Favorite place in Iowa city?
The Mammal Hall in Macbride. Best place to study for sure.
Fall or autumn?
Fall.
Favorite fall activity?
I love bonfires, but they’re kind of hard to have in my apartment.
Thoughts on pumpkin spice lattes?
Pumpkin anything is gross :/ (not basic)
Dream job?
Give me my own show on ESPN with my dad, and I would never ask for anything ever again.
What would be the ultimate concert lineup for you?
Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arctic Monkeys, Ed Sheeran, Nirvana (R.I.P Kurt… R.I.P.)
Celebrity man crush?
James Franco. I’ve been in love with him since 2002 when Spiderman came out.
Favorite dog breed?
Asking my favorite dog breed is like asking me to explain quantum physics… I can’t. Dogs are amazing, and I love them all.
Would you rather be eating pizza or chicken wings right now?
Can I be eating pizza AND chicken wings at the same time?
If you could interview one person dead or alive who would it be?
Theodore Roosevelt. I’m actually obsessed with him. One time I read a 900 page biography about him for fun. Raddest president ever.
