Fall is easily the very best time of year: the weather cools down, sweaters and leggings are back in style, and the leaves change colors, to say the least. There are plenty of things to be grateful for when fall rolls in, and it’s important to take note of them before they’re gone for another year.

1. Themed drinks

Who doesn’t love apple cider, salted caramel coffee and PSLs? Hot or cold, these drinks always hit the spot.

2. Pumpkin carving

Pumpkin carving is a favorite childhood memory for many people, but there’s no reason to leave pumpkin carving in the past. Do it with your roomies, your best friends or your significant other!

3. Hoodie weather

As the weather gets colder, it’s time to start bundling up! Whether you prefer hoodies, jeans and tennis shoes, or you’re more of a  sweaters, leggings and boots kind of gal, fall weather means it’s time to break out all your warm and comfy clothing.

4. Leaves changing colors

The trees are soon going to be a canvas of yellows, oranges, reds and browns as they start to change. It’ll be beautiful once everything changes color, and the sound of crunching leaves under your feet while you walk to class are oh so satisfying.

5. Halloween

Halloween is a great holiday, and it’s the favorite of many people. Create your best costumes, and get ready to stock up on candy.

6. Bonfires

Bonfires go hand-in-hand with hoodie weather. Gather up your best friends, prepare some s’mores and tell some spooky stories.

7. Apple-picking

Nothing is better than a crisp apple, especially one you picked yourself! Apple-picking is a great weekend activity you can do with your family and friends, and you’re bound to have a great time no matter what.
