Thanksgiving is just around the corner, but you don’t have to wait until then to say thank you to all your favorite people. Let them know right now how much you appreciate them. Don’t know where to begin? Here’s a few ideas to get you started.

1. Your parents

This one might seem a bit obvious, but we all take our parents for granted sometimes. Send them a quick text every once in a while letting them know how much you love and appreciate them.

2. Your roomie

When you live with someone, you see a side of them not many other people get to see, and the same goes for them with you. Whether or not you’re best friends or simply living together, give them a hug and tell them thank you for what they do—like dealing with your weird bathroom habits and being there for you through thick and thin.

3. Your pet

Even though they may not understzand what “thank you” means, your pet deserves to hear it. They comfort us, love us unconditionally and stick with us every day.

4. Your siblings

You may want to punch them sometimes for being so annoying, but your siblings are the first friends you have. There are always more good times than bad times, so make sure to tell them thank you for always being by your side.

5. Your squad

Your besties love you for who you are and through all the good and bad times. Make sure you let them know how much you appreciate them and love having them in your life. They’re here to gossip over coffee, they’re your shoulder to cry on, and they’re the ones to hold your hair when you’ve had a few too many drinks.
