Before graduating Iowa there are so many things you don’t want to miss out on and look back and say, “I never knew about that” or “I wish I had done that”. So here’s Iowa’s Her Campus Bucket List: 101 things to do before you graduate. Try to see how many things you can do around campus in your spare time!
#9- Relay for Life
The University of Iowa’s Relay for Life event is taking place on April 15 – April 16, 2011 right here on campus! The event is from 7 p.m. on Friday to 7 a.m. on Saturday morning.
It consists of teams camping and taking turns walking or running on paths. This year Iowa is holding Relay for Life at University of Iowa Old Rec Center (the bubble) and currently have 56 teams with 382 participants!
Relay for Life works hand in hand with the American Cancer Society to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember the ones who have lost their battle and help continue to fight the disease.
