Well ladies, I am no longer a teenager. I have surpassed pimples, my first period, my first crush, teen pregnancy and the stress of everything in between. But the stress of college has taken it’s place and it’s no joke. Not only does college kick your butt academically, but also those late nights caught at the frat parties. You know what I am talking about. When Alpha Sig has that banger with the DJ and you drunkenly call an Uber and stumble into your room at 4 a.m. Anyway, the big 20 just hit me. And it hit me hard. When I finally woke up the morning after my 20th birthday, I was dehydrated, tired and completely unattached from the world in a hungover daze. I had to make a decision: to go to class or not to go? (Coincidentally, I was reading Hamlet).

“Thirsty Thursday” is no doubt a tradition here at UD and this week it just so happened to be on my birthday.  On the day after, we all must come to the grand decision to see if we can handle going to class. Because of my unhealthy FOMO, I had no choice but to suck it up and go. However, I needed something to make me look like a human being instead of a sewer rat roaming the streets of our college town. That’s when I realized: our Her Campus Survival Kit was here. I rummaged through it, eagerly expecting a cure. What I found was better: ALBA Puffy Eye Cream. For me, the tell-tale sign of my hangover is puffy, dark eyes. But this cream did wonders.

The Alba Botaica Fast Fix For Puffy Eyes Cream is actually more of a serum. It is clear but not too runny. When you dab it under your eyes, it feel like a cool, mint, breeze lightly kissing your dark circles. It’s almost magical.

The pictures below are before and after pictures about five minutes apart.

There is undoubtedly a difference, regardless of how much makeup I still had caked to my face from the night before; I can even open my eyes wider. It completely rejuvenated my under eyes and brought me back from the dead. It also made me feel more put together, which gave me more confidence to get through the dreaded, head-achy day.

Honestly, I have no complaints. I felt shiny, new and ready to conquer the rest of my day without a nap or looking like I got punched in both eyes. As you can see in the pictures, it clearly reduced the puffiness and made me have tighter and shiner skin. I would give this cream two thumbs up and a golden star. You need to try this after a crazy night!
