There is nothing I love more than an attractive man who is also an amazing person.  Unfortunately, these people can sometimes feel like one in a million. Actor, producer, and director, Diego Luna happens to be one of those amazing people who I believe deserves a bit more love in his corner.

He embraces his accent.

Diego recently made waves for being cast in the new Star Wars film, Rogue One. People really loved his character because he had a thick Mexican accent. There were even a few stories online about how Diego embracing his accent in the movie inspired other people, or their Hispanic parents, to embrace their own accents. In an interview with Telemundo, Diego was asked what the conversation was like with producers about his accent. “Yeah I think the conversation was, ‘This is my accent,'” Diego said.

Diego was also very proud of being Latino and being cast in Star Wars. In the same interview, he expressed his love for the franchise. “It feels very special. I’m a huge fan. This is like a dream come true,” he said.

He’s best friends with Gael García Bernal.

Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal have one of the best bromances in the world of great bromances. They met on a telenovela when they were kids and have been best friends ever since. Gael García Bernal is most famous for his lead role in Amazon’s original series, Mozart in the Jungle. The pair also co-founded Ambulante A.C. which works to bring documentaries to places where they are rarely shown. Let’s just say that these two are definitely #bestfriendgoals.

He’s political.

Diego Luna sits on the WOLA’s (Washington Office on Latin America) board of directors. According to their website, “WOLA is a leading research and advocacy organization advancing human rights in the Americas.” Who doesn’t love a guy who is passionate about advancing human rights?
