With all the scandal and chaos that has happened in the last year or so, who knew that this country’s 2016 presidential election would come down Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump? Two very different candidates both vying for the nation’s most coveted position: President of the United States.

As a woman, the only clear choice would be to vote for Hillary, right? The woman has a strong list of credentials that makes her qualified to be President. But, that isn’t enough.

  • She cannot hold a powerful composure around men because she’s a woman. Can you imagine her standing next to a major political figure? People won’t take her seriously because she doesn’t have that strong presence.

  • Clinton is always assigning various tasks to people on her staff to complete. She is the one within her campaign calling all the shots. This country cannot have someone like her bossing the country around.

  • She has a very high pitched voice, a trait not fit for presidency.

  • Her stance of equality for women in the work place is absurd. She is taking a driving stance to make sure women are given the same opportunities and salaries as men. That kind of change is something our country is not ready for.

  • She wants to continue the support of Planned Parenthood and to uphold Roe v. Wade when it comes to legal abortions. Women do not have any rights over their body, and the government knows that. Clinton will keep advocating for women’s rights if elected president.

  • Clinton is a woman. She doesn’t have what it takes to hold a male position.

That’s why I am voting for Donald Trump. This man has no political experience whatsoever, but that’s enough for him to probably win the presidential election.

  • He was able to build a business empire with a $1 million loan: the success story is so inspiring.

  • Not only that, he wants to keep Mexicans and Muslims from ever stepping foot into this country again. Trump is certain that discriminating against other religions and races is what this country needs to rise from the ashes. Fun fact: Pope Francis recently said Trump does not reflect the views of a true Christian person. But then again, the words of the Pope, the most powerful religious figure in the Christian faith, can’t be that accurate, right?

  • Trump wants to build a wall between the United States and Mexico to keep the “rapists, drug dealers, and crime” out; because this perfect country has never seen a day of crime in our lifetime. This idea cannot be any more perfect.  If we cut ties with Mexico, one of our largest trading partners, we will surely benefit greatly. And the fact that he is a racist just makes it a whole lot better.

  • Trump thinks pregnancy is an inconvenience to employers and businesses. Who would want to have a family today anyway?

  • Trump loves sexually harassing women! This quality is a favorite.  What woman doesn’t like to be treated like an object and subjected to such things?

At the end of the day, both candidates exhibit qualities that voters either identify with or not. What matters is that everyone’s vote matters and that people don’t let Election Day pass them by. I encourage you all to educate yourself on the issues and go out and vote. This great country depends on it. Until then, collegiates.
