December is the best time of the year for so many reasons: Christmas, pretty lights, the end of a semester, and if you’re an avid YouTube watcher like me, Vlogmas!

Vlogmas is when YouTuber’s post a video, preferably a vlog, every single day from December 1 to December 25. What’s better than that? I know what you’re thinking- Really? Is there that much to watch? But here’s the thing..I don’t watch any Netflix. Everyone is always raving about the best show to stream on Hulu or HBO, but I find those to be too big of a commitment. Who has the time (and not to mention mental capacity) to sit through an entire season of a show during finals? Definitely not me. Thats why I have curated my subscription box to fit all my different moods. Some people I watch to feel motivated, others so that I can vicariously live in New York City, and some to just get a laugh in. Below are a few of my favorites:

Danielle Carolan

I have been watching Danielle for over 3 years and she still never gets old. Her content is full of inspiration and motivation to get out of bed and kick start the day. She’s one of those people that when I watch them, I instantly get that rush to start my homework and begin checking things off my to-do list.

Brooke Miccio

Oddly enough, Danielle and Brooke have a podcast together called “Gals On The Go” that I absolutely love. While Brook went to UGA with Danielle, she now lives on the Lower East Side in New York City. Her content takes you around iconic places such as Bryant Park and the Rockefeller tree. Does it get any better?

Rachel Ratke

Rachel is a smaller influencer with only 40 thousand subscribers, however she does not disappoint. She lives with her boyfriend of 5 years, Dylan, who plays football at North Carolina State University. Whenever I miss my family, I watch her Florida vlogs that are filled with love and laughter. Her brother Danny, her two sisters and her parents honestly make me laugh out loud…as cringey as that is.

Brooke Mooney

Another “smaller” YouTuber is Brooke Mooney from Long Island, NY. I relate to her videos because she’s around my age and also lives on the East Coast. Her and her sister are constantly filming together, and their bond reminds me of my own relationship with my sister. Whenever I’m having a rough day and just need a moment to escape, I turn on her videos.

Renee Amberg

Last but not least, Renee Amberg is always someone who is fun to watch. Her content is the best mix between productivity, but also cozy/comfy vibes. She lives in a high rise in New York City and the views from her apartment are breathtaking. Her seasonal decorating puts you in the best mood and even makes you excited for winter… despite it being freezing cold.

If you’re a YouTuber lover just like me, I recommend adding all of these wonderful girls to your subscription list this Vlogmas! You won’t regret it.
