UConn’s Thursday Struggle As Told By Ross Geller

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Conn chapter.

Ross Geller, we all know and love him. As UConn students, each day surely brings us on an adventure. Though Ross may not know any UConn students personally, he sure does understand our struggles.

A sunny Thursday morning in early October is greeted by that crisp, Storrs air and, of course, the sound of your alarm going off for your 8 a.m. Given the walk to class alone takes fifteen minutes and your day has already begun, unfortunately.

But coffee is worth running late, right? Of course Dunkin > any coffee on campus, and per usual, the line is out the door.

You’re finally walking into your large lecture in Laurel Hall, of course, trying to scooch and shimmy your way through every backpack and crowded aisle.

Two classes in and multiple run-in’s with people you’d just rather not see, you make the windy trek back to The U through Fairfield Way. The wafting smell of sugary, apple-cider donuts stops you right in your tracks.

But of course, as you wait in yet another ridiculous line, they run out.

Next on the agenda is a date with Homer B., aka taking a quick nap up on the fourth floor, getting distracted by Facebook in between studying and walking down to Bookworms multiple times to ease your coffee addiction.

You double check your syllabi one last time and realize you have a test, tomorrow. Things are just great.

After not much studying, because C’s get degrees, you call it a night – a Nickel night.

When your bed finally starts calling your name after a long day of work (and play), the looming question of whether or not to get D.P. Dough lingers for considerably too long.

And just like that, it’s Friday. There goes another week in the books.  Congrats collegiettes (and Ross), you made it!
