The University of Connecticut men’s and women’s basketball teams began their 2011-2012 season Friday Octob 14th with UConn First Night! With admission being free and open to the public Gampel Pavilion was a full house.

The night featured a FanFest, free giveaways, games, music, performance from the band, cheer squad and dance squad, as well as a dunk contest and individual introductions to all the players and coaches!
