Leonard and Sheldon -The Big Bang Theory

Maybe we should have included the rest of the gang on this list because they all put up with Sheldon, but Leonard is the one that lives with him. Sheldon and Leonard may fight and bicker like kids sometimes, and it isn’t always easy living together, yet they have a bond of deep admiration and respect for each other that’s fun to see. Honorary mention goes to the bond between Sheldon and Penny because they are super cute together.

Sam and Jon Snow – Game of Thrones

If a friendship can survive a massive ice wall, Wildlings, and a death and resurrection then you know that this friendship is set for life. Jon saved Sam’s life when he first arrived at the wall and Sam has been unfailingly loyal to Jon ever since. Only true friends nominate you for Lord Commander position.

Patrick and Spongebob – Spongebob Squarepants

If you and your friend haven’t tagged each other in some type of Spongebob and Patrick meme than you’re not really friends. Spongebob and Patrick are the true BFF goals, and every moment they spend together is awesome. They really only need to be with each other to have the best time ever.

Jerry and George – Seinfeld

Jerry and George are a great case of proving that opposites attract. George is your classical self loathing pessimist and Jerry is your typically optimist. They may look so different on paper, but together they make each other better people and we kinda wished we were them.

Stiles and Scott – Teen Wolf

If you can survive becoming a werewolf, and high school, together, odds are that you’re friends for life. Stiles and Scott always had each other’s backs, and their relationship was always one of the best parts of the show.

Titus and Kimmy – Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Titus and Kimmy are also as different as can be, but they are exactly what each other needs the most. Titus helps teach Kimmy about the world she finds herself in, and how to make her way and find her place. Kimmy helps Titus to see the best in every situation, and how to grow as a person. They may be incredibly different but the love they have for each other is real. They’re the funny and fabulous friends we wish we had.

Miley and Lilly – Hannah Montana

There was no better friend to Miley than Lilly, and her alter ego Lola Luftnagle had some seriously great outfits. Lilly and Miley were a dynamic duo back in the days when Disney Channel was still worth watching. All their crazy schemes and wild adventures made us wish we could have a friendship like these two. Also points to Lilly for knowing how to keep a secret.

Zack and Cody – Suite Life of Zack and Cody

Here is another great friendship back in the Disney Channel days of old. Not only were Zack and Cody twin brothers, but they were best friends as well, and we all grew up wishing we were  them and wishing we too could live in a super fun hotel. They totally did have the suite life.

Vinny and Pauly D – Jersey Shore

Now this is a story for the spray-tanned ages. Throughout many tumultuous fights, breakups, hookups and other relationship drama on the hit reality show, the true relationship of the show were these two guys. Bro’s til the very end.

DJ and Kimmy – Full/Fuller House

We grew up loving DJ and Kimmy, and we grew up along with them, watching them go through school, boyfriends and prom. They stuck together and it is so awesome to see them all grown up and still best friends on Fuller House. Now their kids are friends, too, and it’s totally goals.

Kim Possible and Ron – Kim Possible

Oh man, Kim Possible. Kim was so cool. Everybody wanted to kiss her, kill her or be her, and nobody more than Ron. Their lifelong friendship was absolutely incredible and it was so cool to see the typical gender roles completely reversed on this show. All the bonus points because these two eventually fell in love becoming the cutest couple ever, and Ron finally escaped the friendzone.

Taystee and Poussey – Orange is the New Black

These two were funny and witty and were always laughing with each other. It’s a strange thing to find somebody to just “click” with while in prison, but that’s absolutely what happened here. These two were ride or die and we were just as upset as Taystee when Poussey left us way too soon.

Serena and Blair – Gossip Girl

The best and worst of friends, even if at times they may have hated each other..there was always love at the base of Serena and Blair’s friendship. There may have been some occasional fighting and some catty jealousy but when it came right down to it these two ladies could always be counted on to have each other’s back and look effortlessly fabulous while doing it.

Corey and Shawn – Boy Meets World

We all know they had to be on the list. Corey and Shawn were perfect for each other. Absolutely perfect, even if they were insanely different, they completed each other and brought out the very best in each other. Shawn helped to bring Corey out of his shell, and Corey gave Shawn a family that he never could have imagined. They showed us that lifelong friendship takes trust and works, and can still be thrive while being functional adults. We love you two.

The AV Club and Eleven – Stranger Things

Now this is a unique friendship, but one that is super sweet to see. Eleven’s friendship with the boy’s in the AV club is particularly fun, as not only is she able to protect them, they protect her and teach her all about the world she is still discovering. Growing up is hard, and even harder when you have supernatural power, but the Dustin, Lucas, Mike and Will all love and accept Eleven for exactly who she is.

Drake and Josh – Drake and Josh

Even though they started off as sworn enemies, these two brothers/best friends has some of the best adventures, and became the best friends anyone could wish for, all thanks to their joint adventures and shenanigans. Whether is was playing pranks on Walter, running over Oprah or suffering at the hands of Megan, Drake and Josh truly did it all.

JD and Turk – Scrubs

We’ve all had that one friend that when we’re out in public together, people seem to think we’re a couple…and JD and Turk are those guys. They totally and completely get each other, and have no problem being completely and totally themselves in front of one another. Also it’s got to be so much fun to work with your best friend every single day.

Joey and Chandler – Friends

Again, this pairing was sort of a given. Chandler and Joey are what every friendship wishes they could be. Filled with fun, laughter, love and all kinds of humor, they weathered all sorts of storms together. At the end of the day, we all need a roommate and best friend as loyal as Joey and as funny as Chandler.

Meredith and Cristina – Grey’s Anatomy

As if this list would be completed without the twisted sister. From this groundbreaking pair comes the universal term “my person ” and this is what they truly were for each other. Nothing was off limits, nothing too tough to get between them, and they stuck by each other through literal plane crashes and hospital shootings. As Cristina so greatly put it. “If I murdered someone, she’s the person I’d call to help me drag the corpse across the living room floor. She’s my person.”

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler – SNL and real life

The top spot on this list belongs to none other than the Queens of Comedy, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. In both their professional and personal lives, they’ve been shining examples of a healthy, supportive, loving relationship, and are one of the greatest definitions of girl power. Throughout their career many have tried to pit them against one another, yet they refused to let their friendship be sacrificed for some umb tabloid article. Truly a friendship we’d want to have in real life.
