As we enter the cold yet exciting month of December, we encounter a dreaded college classic: finals. Right now you are probably feeling stressed and worried about the exams you have yet to take. On top of this, your motivation levels may be a little low because of the recent Thanksgiving break and the taste of freedom. Believe me, I am right there with you. But, the good news is that the semester is almost over, and there are always ways to help the finals funk some of us might be in right now. If you love music and enjoy the occasional hot girl walk, here are ten songs to strut while you’re on the treadmill.

1. Gimme More By Britney spears

“Gimme More” is a 2000s classic that everyone can bop to. It has a peppy beat that will have you walking fast, but you’ll enjoy every moment.

2. Maneater By Nelly FURTADO

“Maneater” is another 2000s classic that will make you feel powerful and strong. The steady beat builds throughout the song and has catchy lyrics that will have you dancing along.

3. Break my Soul By BeyoncΓ©

One of BeyoncΓ©’s newest hits, “Break My Soul” is perfect for the club, but also for the treadmill. The theme that “you won’t break my soul” will keep you walking and give you the motivation you need to get through your workout and your finals.

4. The Loneliest Time By Carly Rae Jepsen

While this song starts off slow, “The Loneliest Time” by Carly Rae Jepsen begins to pick up mid-song and becomes a song you can easily strut to. It exudes confidence and happy vibes that will make your workout worthwhile.

5. Bejeweled by Taylor swift

A musical list without a Taylor Swift song simply would not be complete. “Bejeweled” by Taylor Swift is one of my favorites off of the new album and has a good message of shining and being your best self. With a steady beat behind the song and fun lyrics, you are sure to enjoy the song.

6. industry baby by Lil Nas X

“Industry Baby” is one of my favorite songs of all time because it has amazing energy, loud horns, and a crazy beat. The song is sure to get you excited and ready to kill your finals.

7. Stir fry by Migos

Similar to “Industry Baby,” “Stir Fry” is a high-energy song that will make you want to dance while you are walking.

8. Sunshine by Steve Lacy (Ft FoushEÉ)

Steve Lacy has been a huge artist this year, and his album Gemini Rights does not disappoint. However, “Sunshine” does not get enough recognition for its mellow vibe that is even fun for a slower walk on the treadmill.

9. Turn up the Sunshine By Diana Ross and Tame Impala

While this may seem like a wacky pick since the song is featured in Minions, it is an optimistic and happy song that will make you feel like you are actually walking on sunshine. Don’t knock it til you try it; this 70’s hippie vibe will put a smile on your face.

10. Nonsense By Sabrina Carpenter

Sabrina Carpenter’s new album Emails I Can’t Send features an amazing, lovey-dovey song called “Nonsense” that is so fun to walk or jog to. Sabrina’s fast-paced singing makes it an exciting song to workout to and sing along with as well.

Hopefully, these selections will make you feel good and relieve some stress. I wish you all the best of luck on finals and hope you enjoy these songs for a successful hot girl walk!
