As the result of a succesful season, UConn football and company travelled down to Florida to play in the 2015 St. Petersburg Bowl on Dec. 26. Festivities leading up to the game included a Battle of the Bands between UConn and Marshall University on Christmas day as well as a fan tailgate, pep rally, and a ton fun in the sun along the beautiful St. Pete beaches. Even in Florida Husky Pride was thriving. There was even a sand replica of our very own Rentschler Field. Although Marshall won the championship title with a final score of 16-10, our Huskies are proud of their success this season and are excited to see what the future holds.
