Small Business Fall Must-Haves

The Her Campus National Editors write about products we love and think you’ll love too. Her Campus has affiliate partnerships, so we get a share of the revenue from your purchase. All products are in stock and all prices are accurate as of publication.

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Conn chapter.

It’s officially fall, ladies! As we transition into the season of comfy sweaters, cozy decorations, and cute booties, I’m sure many have been feeling their autumn stock of supplies is a bit…well…lacking. If you’re not getting the full Gilmore Girls fall experience you deserve, then hop onto your laptops! We’re going shopping!

But before you hit checkout on your Amazon shopping carts (or make any other big-corp purchases) please check out some of these small business finds for fall! Not only are these items super cute and perfect for the new season, but with every purchase, you’ll be helping out a small business that will really appreciate your support! (not to mention these are all women-owned businesses!!!)

Ruby Idol: Fall Breeze Shacket

First up is a flannel “shacket” (or a jacket/shirt mash-up) by Ruby Idol, an online boutique featuring a wide array of cute clothing, purses, shoes, and more. This is a plus-size friendly boutique with sizes ranging from S-3X. You can grab this fall-perfect piece for $57 on their website.

Charm&Clay: Pumpkin Boo Earrings

Next, we have these ADORABLE ghost earrings by Charm and Clay. This jewelry business is run by Manahil Bitter, who hand-makes the polymer clay pieces with the help of her son, Liam. If you think these studs are cute, just wait until you see the Insta posts of the mother-son duo working together! Check out their Instagram for more necklaces, earrings, and studs and to see Manahil’s process for making the accessories! You can grab these spooky studs for $22 on their website.

The Sassy Owl: Here for good booties

I have been searching EVERYWHERE for the perfect autumn shoe, and these booties by The Sassy Owl Boutique might just be the ones! This boutique is both online and storefront, with a location in Decatur, Alabama. Just a quick skim on their website and you can see that they have it all; from graphic tees, rompers, shoes, and much more! Plus, they’re currently having a 60% off sale and free shipping for orders over $100, so head to their website if you’re looking for a good deal!

isabellarosestore: Handmade Chenille pumpkins

As a crochet addict myself, I am so pumped about these hand-knit pumpkins! This small business is run by stay-at-home mom, Angel, who knits all of her products herself. On her website, you can find her handmade blankets, pillows, pet beds, and these precious pumpkins (which are currently on sale for just $19!) Unfortunately, most of these products have a bit of a waiting period, with the next restock on October 21st. If you just can’t wait to support her business, though, you can find scrunchies, candles, mugs, and car diffusers now on her website.

Baltic Born: Sweaters

Last (but definitely not least!) we have a whole bunch of cute sweaters by Baltic Born, a clothing business run by three sisters with the mission of empowering women. On their website, you can find a wide variety of sweaters, jackets, dresses, jumpsuits, and much more! Knitted sweaters are a staple in any fall wardrobe, so I definitely recommend adding one of these to your shopping cart if you’re in the market! You can purchase any one of these great finds on their website.

And with that, we’ve come to the end of our shopping trip! I hope you were able to find something new to spice up the season and support these amazing women-owned small businesses. Happy fall! <3
