Last Minute Costumes for the Procrastinator

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Conn chapter.

Today is the day, collegiates! Halloween is upon us. If you’re anything like me, you’ve procrastinated to the absolute last minute and are frantically looking for a costume to pull together for either some festivities tonight or this upcoming weekend. But don’t scare yourself too much, because below is the ultimate list of last-ditch-effort costumes that even the laziest person can pull off.

1.   Rosie the Riveter:

This is probably one of the easiest costumes ever; you most likely have everything you need in your closet already.

2.   Cat:

A simple and classic costume, all you need is a pair of cat ears and an ll black ensemble.

3.   Breakfast at Tiffany’s:

A cute costume with things that can be found in your closet (black dress, heels, sunglasses, and maybe those old pearls your grandma gave you). All you need to find is a tiara!

4.   Arthur:

A childhood throwback costume that is easy to put together; the only extras are the ears and the glasses.

5. Bachelor Contestants

Not only is this a good last-minute group costume, but it also gives you a reason to bring out that old homecoming dress; just buy some roses.

6.   Ice Cream Cone

This is a cute idea for a duo or someone going solo. Add some ‘sprinkles’ to a top and something red in your hair.

Have a happy Halloween, and stay safe and stylish while celebrating your favorite spooky day!
