Summer is officially over…which is hard for most of us here in the Northeast but we are about to enter the (second) best season of the year, fall! Now I know our lovely fall weather window is awfully short here in Storrs but we need to make it count. That starts in our closet, of course, specifically footwear! I’m here to bring you four of my fall footwear faves that you absolutely need this season!
1. Adidas campus 00s
First and foremost Adidas Campus 00s, need I say more. Now I don’t even own a pair of these (but I need to ASAP)! I’ve personally always been an Adidas girl so this may be a bit biased, but I want these in absolutely every color they offer. They are a suede material so they’re not totally ideal for a rainy day, but they’re absolutely perfect for a textbook fall day in Connecticut. The 00s are the absolute perfect everyday sneaker for a dressed-up or dressed-down look!
2. a tall black boot
Next up is a shoe staple, especially recently. You can never have too many neutral pieces that you can wear with absolutely anything, so a tall simple black boot is a must this fall. Like a good pair of sneakers, you can dress these up or down. Pairing a black boot with a wide leg jean is perfect for a more casual look, or a cute mini skirt for a dressier occasion. I will definitely be adding these to my collection this season!
3. any ugg…Ever
UGG…they’ve been tried and true forever! If you don’t already have a pair, you need a pair. My personal faves have been (currently still are) the minis. They also have ultra minis and adorable slippers, you can of course also grab these in platform which I adore but have yet to buy. The thing I love about UGGs is how versatile they truly are; you can pair them with jeans or sweats for whatever look you’re going for.
4. A fun pop of color
The fourth and final footwear must-have for this fall has to be a fun chunky pop of color boot. This is also something my closest lacks (this article is practically a shopping list at this point)! A shorter chunky boot is an absolute need when it comes to a little more dressier events or when the weather starts getting a bit cooler. I’ve been searching for a brown/amber pair for so long now and these SARTO booties are absolutely perfect!
