This week’s campus celebrity is Chelsea Miller, Production Manager at UCTV.

Year: Junior
Major: Communication Sciences
Hometown: Simsbury, CT

HC: What is your favorite part about your job at UCTV?

 

CM: I like helping people develop their shows and organizing their shoots. I like being able to help UCTV expand its content by helping new shows get developed and helping old shows run smoothly.

 

HC: What is the hardest parts of your job as Production Manager? 

 

CM: Having to meet with every new member of UCTV can be time consuming but I do love getting know everyone and helping them get involved.

 

HC: What advice would you give to other people trying to get involved with UCTV?

 

CM: You have to go for it. UCTV is what you make it. Working with us can be as big or small of a project as you want it to be. You just have to make it something worthwhile to you.
 
HC: What plans do you have for UCTV next year? 

 

CM: I’m going to be the Production Manager again and I hope to keep building not only UCTV but the station’s presence on campus. I want to get as many people to watch and enjoy our content as possible.

Danielle recently graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Communications and Spanish. Originally from Connecticut, she is excited for her new adventure in Cambridge. During her last semester at UConn she was the Marketing Director for Her Campus UConn and helped found the organization on campus. Throughout her time at school she enjoyed running, photography, rock climbing, and planning events for the different organizations she was involved with on campus. She looks to continue these hobbies in Cambridge and hope they can contribute to her ideas and goals with Her Campus.
