Saturday night, all of the UConn a capella groups performed at their biannual Rush Concert. Â Each sang two songs to showcase their talent to the audience, which included individuals interested in trying out for one of the nine groups. Â Highlights included Conn Men’s rendition of “Feeling Good,”A Minor’s take on “American Boy,” and the introduction of a brand new all-female a cappella group, Drop the Bass. Â The new group quickly showed they could hang with the veterans as they sang two songs with stellar solos. Â
The groups will be holding auditions this Sunday and Monday night for anyone interested in trying out for one of the groups.Â
