6 Quick and Easy Cocktails for Valentine’s Day

Whether you’re hosting a Galentine’s Day party, getting cozy with your bae or confidently ridin’ solo for the day, keep these lovely and deliciously addicting six cocktails in mind to spruce up your days activities!

 

Raspberry Moscato

Keep it light and refreshing with this Instagram worthy recipe!

Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup dry ginger ale
  • ½ cup fresh raspberries
  • ½ packet of Sweet’N Low
  • 1 cup pink Moscato (Gallo, Barefoot, or Sutter Home)
  •  heart shaped ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. In a blender combine the ginger ale, raspberries and Sweet’N Low.
  2. Place a few ice cubes into two glasses and divide the raspberry mixture between the two glasses (half per glass).
  3. Top it off with pink Moscato.
  4. Thread some raspberries onto a stirrer for garnish.
  5. Finish with a few of the heart-shaped ice cubes on the top!

 

Heart-Shaped Jell-O Shots

A shot to the heart! This recipe makes a batch of 12, perfect for a little gathering and easy enough to make double for a larger party.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of Cherry Vodka (Smirnoff, Three Olives, UV, Grey Goose)
  • 3 oz. box of cherry Jell-O
  • ½ cup coconut milk
  • 4 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 packet gelatin
  • 12 cherries with stems
  • heart-shaped cookie cutter
  • baking pan

The Blushing Paloma

Valentine’s Day can be full of surprises, just like this drink!  It includes hints of sweetness and punches of sour.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup reposado tequila (Patron, Espolòn, Jose Cuervo)
  • ¼ cup club soda
  • ¼ cup fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1 tbsp. lime juice
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • small plate for sugar
  • grapefruit wedge

Instructions:

  1. Sprinkle sugar on a small plate, cut a grapefruit in half, rubbing outer edge of cocktail glass to wet it and then rub rim of glass in sugar.
  2. In your cocktail glass, combine grapefruit juice, lime juice, sugar and mix until sugar dissolves.
  3. Add tequila, club soda, and ice.
  4. Garnish with a wedge of grapefruit!

 

The Dirty Shirley

Feeling a little daring? Take this innocent childhood drink up a notch.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of Sprite soda
  • 3 oz. (shots) of cherry vodka
  • 2 splashes of grenadine syrup
  • a jar of maraschino cherries
  • lime wedges

Instructions:

  1. Fill two glasses with ice.
  2. Pour in the soda and cherry vodka equally into each glass.
  3. Add a splash of grenadine and some cherries to each drink.
  4. Stir drinks well and garnish with cherries or limes

 

Drunk in Love Cocktail

Want to go all out with Valentine’s Day, go with this next cocktail! Warning, this drink is really strong!

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. (shots) of strawberry vodka
  • 1 oz. Triple Sec
  • ½ oz. grenadine
  • 2 oz. strawberry daiquiri mix
  • small champagne bottles
  • a box of raspberries and strawberries

Instructions:

  1. Slice strawberries and put them in your glass (preferably a footed goblet)
  2. Put some ice in glass and more slices of strawberries and raspberries.
  3. In order, pour in grenadine, strawberry vodka, Triple Sec, strawberry daiquiri mix.
  4. Then to top it, dunk in the champagne bottle!

 

Heavenly Hot Coco

Warm up with you SO and this decadent cocktail on February’s chilly & romantic night.

 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1-1/2 oz. Kahlúa
  • ¾ cup cool whip
