5 Ways to Refresh Your Life This Spring

This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Conn chapter.

It’s that time of the semester folks. The time where everyone is over class, exams and pretty much everything college. You just want to go home and binge-watch every Netflix show possible. We still have a couple more weeks to go, so here are 5 ways to refresh your life this spring:

1. Update your hair care routine

Sometimes it just takes the simplest things to get you in a good mood. Updating your hair care routine could give you something new to think about when you aren’t studying for your hundreds of exams. Use Bed Head’s high performance products to get your hair flowing and shining in the spring breeze.

2. Get your skin GLOWING

Even though the weather is so back and forth in the northeast, it’s important that you have a good and protective skin care routine for those sunnier days.  To keep your skin moisturized try out Alba Botanica’s Hawaiian Green Tea Sunscreen.

3. Try out a new makeup brand

I don’t know about you, but I love spring cleaning. It’s so nice to get rid of things we no longer use so that we can make room for new products. If you’re bored with the makeup you’ve been using, why not try out Almay’s Shadow Squad™ eyeshadows! These shadows offer you satin, glitter, metallic and matte finishes so that there’s a style that works for everyone. If eyeshadow is not your thing, try out Buxom’s Va-Va-Plump Shiny Liquid Lipstick. Glosses are all the rage this season, and this super pigmented lip product is the perfect addition to your makeup collection.

4. Bronze it up

WE’RE OVER WINTER MOTHER NATURE. Here at Storrs we’d really like some sun, but lately all we’ve gotten is rain and snow. To get yourself in the spring and summer spirit why not bronze it up. L’Oréal Paris Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Towelettes is a simple way to get that summer glow in 2-4 hours after use!

5. Save money for those summer trips

No one likes to spend money when they don’t have to, and especially when they don’t want to. Have a broken sandal, or sunglasses that you were planning on using for those summer days? The answer is simply fixing those broken products with Krazy Glue. Krazy Bonds wood, metal, plastics, glass, vinyl and ceramics!

It’s time to get in that spring and summer mood collegiates!
