UConn is a huge school – but there are some things that all of us lady huskies have experienced! See how many things on this list YOU relate to:
1. Attending WOW events even when you’re not a freshman in order to get free t-shirts
2. Suffering through the bathroom at Huskies Bar with no toilet paper, paper towels, or locks on the doors EVER
3. Â Sprinting for a bus after the MyUConn app said that Blue line was coming in 20 minutes and all of a sudden it says 20 seconds 4. Getting on Purple Line going the wrong way and taken a scenic 40 minute ride to Depot Campus
5. Just sort of walking in circles around Oak Hall until you find your classroom
6. Having a near heart attack going up the giant staircase to Garrigus and Putnam
7. Getting logged out of Student Admin every time you try to check your schedule
8. Becoming enraged at your professors for not putting grades up on HuskyCT soon enough, and viciously refreshing until they do so
9. Going to Homer Babs to study but ending up taking a 30 minute “study break” at bookworms….every hour
10. Trying so hard to be on the jumbotron at football or basketball games
11. Knowing that your life would be MADE if you caught a free t-shirt at a basketball game
12. Standing in the freezing cold waiting to get in to the games
13. Avoiding the crazy religious extremists that come and preach at the campus every once in a while (or sticking around to enjoy the show)
14. Seeing a beautiful sunset over Horsebarn Hill
15. Making it your personal quest to take a picture with Jonathan…both the actual dog AND the mascot

16. Attempting to run up Horsebarn Hill…those who have achieved success I salute you
17. Forgetting your last name momentarily when handing in the lock you rented from the gym
18. The Spring Concert ticket buying process…enough said (Rumor has it that it’s being conducted online this year- THANK GOODNESS)
19. Obsessing over Student Union Mac n cheese
20. Taking the semester-ly trip to Chuck & Augie’s with your girlfriends when you realized you still have a ton of points to use up
21. Not being phased by the sight of cows
22. Choosing fashion over practicality by not wearing a hat/scarf/gloves/etc during the winter…and instantly regretting it
23. Having aproximately 4289374382 Hungry Huskies flyers handed to you during finals week
24. Bypassing most vendors set up on Fairfield Way if they aren’t giving away free stuff
25. Trying to resist the smell of Faddy’s donuts
26. Standing outside in non-weather-appropriate outfits waiting for a sober ride to take you to a party
27. Potentially still having wounds or scars from trying to sneak into Carriage through the woods your freshman year
28. Accepting the fact that the salad line in the Union is going to take at least 30 minutes but it’s worth it for that Southwest Wrap with crispy chicken
29. Watching the perfect grass from the beginning of the year turn into brown student-made paths only 3 weeks into the semester
30. Â UConn(struction). Â
31. Checking UConn Crushes more than we’d like to admit (Don’t lie. We’ve all been there).
32. Temporarily falling in love with a cute boy on the bus
33.  35 person Dunkin’ line in the U? Worth it
34. Â Ruining all of your shoes during winter from the rock salt residue
35.  Relishing the first time that it’s nice out during spring semester- and spending the ENTIRE DAY outsideÂ
36. Being familiar with the beeping walk signal at all crosswalks
37. Not looking both ways before crossing the street
38. Knowing exactly whom people are referring to when they talk about Jay Hickey, Lil Brit or Bigggggg Mike
39. Replacing meals with smoothies from Freshens Â
40. Speaking of Lil Brit, finding immense out entertainment out of watching (or participating) in Late Night Karaoke!
41. Almost getting run over by a long boarder
42. Â Seeing someone (okay, maybe that one guy! on a unicycle
43.  Being surprised when the women’s basketball team wins by less than a 40 point margin
44. Missing UConn as soon as we leave
45. Bleeding Blue and White!Â
