10 Things Guys Do That Annoy Us

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Conn chapter.

Having a crush on a boy can either be a great experience or the bane of your existence. One second you are convinced they are your soulmate and the next they say or do something that has you questioning why you ever liked them in the first place. If you’ve ever felt this way, don’t worry, because you’re not alone.

Here are 10 things guys do that annoy us:

1. Don’t you love it when they talk to you and give you all their attention one day, but then they ignore your existence for the next three days?

2. Or how about when they know you like them, but they won’t hesitate to tell you how pretty they think some girl that isn’t YOU is?

3. When they assume you’re on your period because you’re in a bad mood.

4. When you’re having a conversation with them and they only talk about themselves the entire time without asking you about your life.

5. Doesn’t it sting a little when they stop liking your posts on Instagram, especially the selfies you work hard to take?

6. Mixed signals… enough said!

7. When they won’t just tell you how they feel about you, making you overanalyze every single interaction you have in order to decipher how he truly feels.

8. When they use you and lead you on for their own fun.

9. We can’t forget to mention when they take hours to reply to a text or don’t even reply at all.

10. Has your crush (who is aware you like him) ever flirted with another girl in front of you? It’s not fun!

Don’t stress over any boy, collegiettes! If they are worth it, they won’t do or say any of the things mentioned in the list above… As Daya once said in her hit song, “where do the good boys go to hide away?”
