Cheap Spring Break Essentials!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Chicago chapter.

If you’re heading somewhere tropical for break and need to do some last minute shopping for beach essentials, these stores have the cheapest prices:

Equate Suntan lotion
Walmart – $5
Freaking out because you’ll be exposed to the sun for the first time in months? Head to a local Walmart and pickup Equate brand suntan lotion for only $5!

Fashionable Sandals
Target – $15 and under
Your shoes need to last the week and look cute at any event. Target sells numerous fashionable sandals in a variety of colors and styles for $15 or less. Check out the clearance section for equally cute but even cheaper options.

Sunglasses
Forever 21 – $5.80
F21 sells chic sunglasses at a ridiculously affordable price. Though they may not be the best quality, these sunglasses will complement your outfit perfectly whether you’re on the beach or on the town.

Swimsuit Separates
H&M – $10 and under
Get to H&M quickly because they’re having a huge sale — 50% off already reduced items. H&M is a great option if you need to pick up a last minute bikini top or bottom to pair with another swimsuit you already own. I just bought an adorable bikini bottom from here for only $2.50!

An awesome spring break doesn’t need to break the bank. Hit up any of these local stores for last-minute SB essentials at super cheap prices. Enjoy your break and spend the money you saved on these items on something fun at the beach!
