7 Amazing Bloggers You’ve Probably Never Heard Of

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Chicago chapter.

You may find yourself reading Man Repeller and The Blonde Salad on a regular basis, but the blogosphere is chock full of cool bloggers.  They might not have millions of followers, but here are young bloggers who are killin’ it:

1.     Fashionista Jenn

Fashionista Jenn is run by Jenn, a current senior at VCU.  A master of layering (see above photo), Jenn’s blog contains well put together looks as well as Polyvore infographics to help you stay on trend.  Jenn is clearly killing it and she definitely deserves some recognition for her sartorial expertise.

2.     Love Jomy

Jomy of Orlando, FL gives a calm, cool and collected vibe.   In addition to outfit posts, Jomy also does beauty reviews! Her blog is extremely well polished and the photography is always on point.

3.     Alicia Tenise

Alicia’s blog is truly a fashion and lifestyle blog. Her outfits feature gorgeous prints and the layout of her site indicates how dedicated and serious she is about her work.

4.     Keep Calm and Chiffon

Austen Tusone of Barnard College in NYC is a bona fide it girl.  Her blog captures not only her style but her fabulous NYC lifestyle! You go, girl.

5.     Michelle’s Pa(i)ge

Michelle’s blog is home to classic and polished looks. Her bag game and jewelry game are both incredibly strong and her Instagram pictures are equally amazing!

6.     When I’m Older

Don’t let the busy layout throw you off; Taylor’s blog features many minimalist styles.   She too is a beauty blogger and she has excellent content.

7.     Shell Chic’d

Last but certainly not least is Emily of Shell Chic’d.  Emily’s style is definitely more preppy, and her take on New England is not one to be missed!

Emily is a second year at the University of Chicago majoring in Sociology and Russian. In addition to being a CC, she is a contributing writer for modachicago.com and runs her own blog, norepeatsorhesitations.com. Her dream job is to be the next Editor-In-Chief of Vogue, but she is currently looking into becoming a strategic marketing analyst. Her interests and hobbies include buying shiny things, comparing Chicago to New York (her hometown), eating ice cream, experimenting with makeup, and learning Disney songs in Russian.
