Do you have no Halloween plans this year? No problem! Here are some fun, at home activities that you can do to get in the spooky spirit either on your own or with friends!

Scary or not so scary movies

This is definitely one of the top ways I love to get into the Halloween spirit. I’m not a huge scary movie fan so you’re more likely to see me throw on a fun flick like Hocus Pocus or Halloweentown, but this activity can be a foolproof way to get in the spooky mood.

Try out new costume looks at home

Who says you have to be attending a party to dress up for Halloween? I personally love trying out different costumes throughout October just in the comfort of my own bedroom. Especially right now in the middle of a pandemic, it’s fun to escape from school work for a couple of hours and try out a crazy, new costume.

Blast those spooky tunes

The minute it was October 1st I already had some spooky songs blasting in my bedroom as I studied. It can make great background noise while you work on some of your assignments and there are a ton of awesome playlists on Spotify that you can check out.

Halloween treats

At this point it’s known that I am a huge fan of sweets and treats and Halloween is the perfect excuse to bust out that new cupcake recipe. This is also a perfect excuse to have a girl’s night, where you and your friends could compete against each other to see who makes the spookiest treat!
