Kalie is our amazing Marketing and Publicity Director, in charge of sharing the UAlberta Her Campus chapter with the campus, the community, and the world. Working alongside our Events Director, she promotes our events, meetings, and other chapter goings-on. Kalie is in her Sophomore year with a double major in Drama and Linguistics. Her favourite colour is lavender, and she loves summer, the lake and the sun. Kalie’s favourite movie is Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. Kalie is an aspiring model and actress We asked Kalie to tell us more about her, and this is what we learned.
Why did you join Her Campus UAlberta?
I love the idea of empowering women in whatever way is possible and Her Campus helps me feel more empowered as a woman.
What is your favourite topic to write articles about?
I write on a variety of things but right now I am working on Humans of UAlberta. It’s a cool project where I get to hear the stories of students on campus and I really enjoy that. But I have a major love for the writing style of Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City and writing about being an independent single girl.
What is your fall style?
Whatever is in for the season of fashion.
What do you never leave the house without?
Headphones, I love music.
