5 Dessert Recipes That Are Perfect for Autumn

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Alberta chapter.
Vegan Pumpkin Pie

Even though it’s after Thanksgiving, pumpkin pie is a still one of the best pies to have for fall. This recipe that I found is extremely easy to follow and doesn’t include any crazy ingredients. If you have the time, I say make it because pumpkin pie is never a bad idea.

Vegan Apple Crumble

This is another classic that you would see at a Thanksgiving table but once again, it’s a comfort food so you can never go wrong with this. This recipe is by minimalist baker and she always makes sure to make her recipes easy but also incredibly yummy.

Vegan Apple Rhubard Pie

Rhubarb was one of my favourite types of pie as a child so this addition is just a little ode to my childhood. This pie is great because it’s not too sweet or sour so it’s a perfect pie for you to share with people who like both. Once again, the ingredients are super simple and nothing too fancy is included so it’s an easy pie to make as well.

Vegan Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls

I don’t care what anyone says, cinnamon rolls are a classic any time of the year but why not add a little pumpkin to give them a little twist. This recipe is pretty quick to make (around 1 hour) and once again, fairly easy to make (the only kind of recipes I like).

Vegan Gingersnap Cookies

I would say that these cookies are a little more for the Christmas season in my opinion, but I’ll eat them whenever the weather starts turning a little bit colder (actually I’ll eat them whenever, but cold weather is when I really crave them). This would be a perfect dessert to bring to a potluck since they are so easy to share.
