There’s finally a chill in the air as the fall season kicks in. I may be biased, but it’s definitely the best season. Yet, I haven’t done that much to truly appreciate autumn yet. Here are five festivities I’m putting on my to-do list before it’s too late!
A Pumpkin Patch Date
My TikTok For You Page is full of pumpkin patch trends, and I am so jealous. I need to put on a cute sweater, a skirt, tights, and some boots effective immediately. My Instagram is looking quite dull without the fall photo dump it deserves. Whether it’s a date with my girls or my man, I hope to put it on my itinerary soon.Â
Pumpkin Painting/Carving
After said pumpkin patch, I’ll have a few at home to paint and carve. I haven’t painted a pumpkin in a couple of years, so I think it’d be a fun idea to spend some time on. I need more fall decor on my front porch, so I’ll be saving painted pumpkin ideas to a Pinterest board in the upcoming days.Â
A Night At The Cinema
Unfortunately, I haven’t been to the movie theater in a hot minute, so what better reason to go than to see a horror movie? My favorite genre has been featured on my living room TV this autumn season, but I must witness a bigger screen with an ICEE in my hand. My favorite things are the cinema, a scary movie, a crisp chill in the air, and I am not showing it nearly enough. Soon, I swear it!Â
Sipping On A Festive Drink
Please, nobody kill me, but I’ve never even had a pumpkin spice latte. I was never a fan of pumpkin pie growing up, but I am so envious of the rush people get from the Starbucks fall drink lineup. Maybe my taste buds have matured, and pumpkin won’t throw me off anymore. If anything, I’ll dabble in a special flavored chai latte. Wish me luck, fall drink queens.Â
A Halloween Party!
My favorite holiday is coming up so fast, and I am so excited! I just ordered my costume and should probably invest in one more, but all I’m thinking about is being surrounded by my friends as Thriller blasts in my ear. I’m freshly 21 and ready for daylight savings to end. I’m feeling the Halloween mischief seep into my bones already.
I promise I am working so hard to romanticize my favorite season. This list of mine will be checked off in no time. Happy fall, y’all.
