After a weekend of binging House of Cards, I finally realized what I’ve missed most about Frank Underwood in the past year. It has nothing to do with his manipulative demeanor, his cruel humor or his evil intelligence. Put simply, it’s his “gaze.” It’s a crushing stare with the power to destroy and the undeniable desire to triumph.
