The Top 5 Songs of Jesse McCartney’s Career

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tulane chapter.

In case you haven’t heard, Tulane’s annual homecoming concert will be performed by Jesse McCartney and we’re completely freaking out. In honor of this amazing event, here’s a countdown of the top five Jesse McCartney songs that you probably jammed out to at every middle school dance.

5. Body Language

A very solid start to the list. It’s a definite bop, but collaborating with T-Pain was a strange and off-brand choice in my opinion. This song made me miss the innocent little Jesse McCartney we know and love.

4. Right Where You Want Me

Truly a classic. This song brought together two of the best things in this world: Jesse McCartney and the Halloweentown movies. I still listen to this song on a regular basis and if you can’t relate I honestly feel sorry for you.

3. Because You Live

Here’s the tea: THIS IS THE MOST UNDERRATED JESSE MCCARTNEY SONG IN EXISTENCE. IF YOU DISAGREE YOU’RE WRONG. NOT SORRY BOUT IT. This song is the epitome of middle school emotions and used to belt it in the shower every night. I’m not ashamed.

2. Leavin’

While I am very much on team blonde Jesse, brunette Jesse has his moments and this song is one of them. It’s the ultimate track for a throwback playlist and it never fails to hype me up and put me in a good mood whenever I hear it.

1. Beautiful Soul

I know that this needs absolutely zero explanation, but I’m giving one anyway. Beautiful Soul IS Jesse McCartney. This song is by far the most iconic thing to ever happen in our sweet little Jesse’s career. And, not to be dramatic, but his performance and scenes on the Suite Life of Zack and Cody is the most amazing thing I have ever witnessed in my entire life.

With all of that being said, here’s an accurate depiction of Tulane’s student body on November 2nd:
