Thoughts While Studying for Finals, as Told by “The O.C.”

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tulane chapter.

It’s finally spring in NOLA! Which means festivals, the Fly, formals, crawfish boils,

Oh yeah, and that little thing called finals.

But it’s okay. I have plenty of time to study, right?

Guess it’s time to go to the library…

…But not until I grab some coffee and a bagel. It’s brain food, after all. How am I supposed to study without brain food? Exactly.

Great! I made it to the library. Now I just have to find a cube.

Finally found a cube! That only took 20 minutes.

Now it’s time to focus. But first, I should probably Facebook stalk everyone I’ve ever met. And while I’m at it, check Twitter and Instagram. Just trying to stay up to date with life, ya know?

An hour later…

Okay, this is it. Time to get stuff done. I can do this.

What does this even mean? When am I going to use this in life? I hate everything.

No, seriously. Everything.

I’ll just take a little break and see what my friends are up to. I need to clear my head.

Yeah, they know that’s totally not happening.

Whatever, it’s probably time to call it a night and go home. Everyone, out of my way.

It’s a new day. I’m motivated and feeling pretty good.

Things are finally coming together.

Maybe this test won’t be so bad, after all. I’m actually feeling pretty confident.

I’m gonna ace this test after all…

…And if all else fails, there’s always the Boot.

Good luck studying everyone! Summer is right around the corner.
