For those breaks when you don’t want to go home or stay on campus try taking a road trip with your friends!

I know the years almost over, but why not start jotting down ideas for some fun weekend or day trips next year! If you don’t wanna go all the way to Pensacola, there are closer options for a fun day at the beach as well. A few days ago a few friends and I rented a car through enterprise (you only have to be 18 if you’re a Tulane student, plus they pick you up and drop you off when you return the car!!) then drove to Biloxi, Mississippi. The drive was less than 2 hours, and we we lucky enough to have perfect beach weather! Don’t let this picture fool you, dark clouds set for about 5 minutes, it definitely didn’t rain!! Another option is Gulf Shores, Alabama–it’s just a bit further. My friends and I also took advantage of having a car by stopping at the mall on the way back without having to pay those annoying taxi fees.
