A flooded Jazz Fest was sort of a perfect ode to New Orleans. Yes, I was upset that Stevie cancelled. But only here would crowds dive into knee deep garbage-water and chug beers while sitting cross legged in the faux-lake. It couldn’t ruin anyone’s day – the storm just made it a more memorable day.
