You simply can’t deny that one of the best things in the world is cinnamon sugar. Take for instance fresh churros? Absolutely delicious! Through a lovely early evening of procrastination, I found this quick and easy recipe that’d be perfect for either a snack or a party appetizer. If you’ve ever had Stacy’s cinnamon sugar pita chips, you’ll find that this is a fantastic do it yourself recipe to keep your hunger down and focus up as you study for midterms!
Baked Cinnamon and Sugar Bites!
Ingredients:
- 10-12 [small] flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- Cinnamon and sugar mixture (1/4 cup sugar + 1 tbsp cinnamon)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
In a small pan [or microwave] melt butter over low heat.
Brush 1 side tortilla with butter. You can be generous with the butter. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar, as little or as much as you’d like. With a pizza cutter, cut the tortilla in half and then into fourths. Place tortillas, sugar side up, on baking sheet. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
Bake for about 8-10 minutes, until the tortillas have puffed up.
Let tortillas cool, best enjoyed same day.
In addition to that, there’s also a really simple Nutella yogurt dip for fruit (or whatever you really want to eat with nutella, which can be….anything!)
Nutella Yogurt Fruit Dip
1 cup plain, nonfat Greek yogurt
1/2 cup nutella
Mix the two ingredients in a bowl and chill until ready to serve. Serve with any fruit you like!
