As the semester winds down and operation study for finals goes into full effect, it also becomes a time for reflections and last hurrahs.

After a wild semester of late nights, awkward mornings, and questionable decisions, it is important to reflect. I say reflect because there is no reason to regret what has already happened. Chances are at the time it seemed like a good idea, and somewhere down the line it gave you a good laugh. It might not have been a good decision, but good decisions aren’t worth remembering. You also aren’t alone, end of semester reflections happen for everyone. Someone will always stay out later, party harder, and remember less. The goal is to reflect in order to make next semester just as enjoyable, if not better than this one. Whether that entails one less shot or an extra hour at the bar, go for it. Do whatever it takes to maximize the potential for excellent adventures.

Along with reflections come last hurrahs. Perhaps you need one more daiquiri or a late night on Bourbon. That last slice of Boot pizza or morning struggle to get to Bruff for breakfast. Again, do whatever it takes. You’re about to go home and detox for a month so the goal is to take advantage of those last few nights in what some consider a lawless city.

While our Tulane adventures will be missed, a reunion at home will be much enjoyed and appreciated. Good luck on finals. See you next semester! This is last hurrahs and reflections Ana Roll.
